PDQ FOTOS LTD LOGIN

To cerate your P.F.M.S account simply e-mail your name adders and contact number tosales@pdqfotos.co.uk or you can ring us on +44 01274 772595 and give us your details over the phone select the user name and password you would like to use and that's it.!! simple as that your logged in to the system. Please allow 2hrs for system registration to to activated.

Once your account is activated just logon to the PDQ website http://www.pdqfotos.co.uk and click the login link in the gray box on the homepage. Once the purple web mail page appears select your preferred langue (the default is English) then simply enter your user name and password in to the boxes and click login.

Once in your account.

The gray box will display any massages in your in box to send the digital images on your pc simply click compose at the top left hand corner of the page and enter sales@pdqfotos.co.uk in to the box. Other contacts such as friends or family can be added to the Cc & Bcc boxes then enter your name and telephone number in the subject box and add any comments or requests in to the large white box i.e. amounts of copy's, type of format etc etc.

To attach a file go to the bottom of the page and click browse the find a file box will appear if the selected directory is not displayed click the (look in) tab at the top of the find a file box your PC,s file structure will be displayed select the correct directory and folder in the directory and click the selected file to be sent then press open.

Notice the attachments directory box will have a file path in it click the attach button next to the browse button to add the selected file to the e-mail.

Then simply click the send message button at the top of the page and your done we should receive your pictures in a matter of seconds depending on the speed of your connection. We then read your requests and carry out development to photographic paper format or CD, album format all you have to do is call in and collect your pictures we shall send a email to your account confirming finish time and cost of services.

The system can be accessed any where in the world with inter net access so if your off on holiday don't be limited to how much space your digital camera has left on it just down load it to a pc and log in to http://www.pdqfotos.co.uk and send us your holiday snaps we will have them on disk or photographic paper for when you return!!! and they will say on our servers for up to 6mts.

To set up your e-mail account with out look express>

Step 1
Open MS Outlook Express 6.0
Select Tools -> Accounts from the toolbar,

Step 2
The Internet Accounts window comes up.

Click on Add -> Mail... to create a new account to access our mail service.

Step 3
The Internet Connection Wizard | Your Name comes up.
In the field Display Name: type your full name then click on the button Next> in the bottom part of the wizard.

Step 4
The Internet Connection Wizard | Internet Email Address comes up.
In the field E-mail Address: type the email address for example yourusername@pdqfotos.co.uk the user name you obtained shall go before the @pdqfotos.co.uk alias that you want to setup the account for.
When you signed up with PDQ Fotos, you obtained an email address plus a password. This is the info that you would need to proceed.
Then click on the button Next> in the bottom part of the wizard.

Step 5
The Internet Connection Wizard | Email Server Names comes up. In the field Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: type the following pdqfotos.co.uk
In the field Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: type the
following: mail.btopenworld.com

or: smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

(the ISP you use should be entered as the out going server address)
Then click on the button Next> in the bottom part of the wizard.

ensure the (My incoming mail server is a pop3 server) is set to IMAP

Step 6
The Internet Connection Wizard | Internet Mail Logon comes up.
In the field Account name: type your user name address that you obtained earlier.
In the field Password: type the password that belongs to this email.
Note: The password was given to you for this email when you signed up or when you requested this email address.
Then click on the button Next> in the bottom part of the wizard.

Step 7
The Internet Connection Wizard | Congratulations comes up. Click on the Finish button in the bottom part of the wizard click ok on the download box and then click finish to down load the emails form the server

Step 8
You are now back to the window of Step 2Select the account you just created and click on the Properties button on the right side of the window.

Step 9
The Properties window of the account that you selected comes up.

Step 10
Click on Close in the window of Step 8Your account is now setup for the new mail service from PDQ Fotos Ltd.
Repeat steps 1 to 10 for every email account that needs a password to get the emails in that account.

large bit map and jpeg files can be stored in the account and you can send large files up to 128mb worth per account a size limit will be set to 128mb per customer.
